Living in The Shore
The highly regarded Shore area of the City boasts a waterfront rich in history, overlooking the picturesque Water of Leith. The area is host to a wide range of amenities and a fabulous range of unique shops, Michelin starred restaurants and upmarket pubs.
The Shore has been radically transformed into vibrant community of quality apartments and penthouses since the Tall Ships visited over the last few years, and is much sought after by professionals and investors alike. The area is easily accessed either by car or by public transport. The Scottish Government is now established in the dock area, as is the former Royal Yacht Britannia.
A short walk away is Edinburgh’s flagship shopping and cinema complex the Ocean Terminal and there is a wide selection of bars, restaurants and bistros. There is also the benefit of a regular bus service which provides ease of commuting in and around the surrounding areas and through Edinburgh City Centre and Princes Street which are only a short journey away.
