Juniper Green is a much sought after conservation area approximately three miles to the south-west of Edinburgh’s City Centre, boasting an enviable setting with the Water of Leith and the Pentland Hills in close proximity.
While retaining a strong village community, it has expanded over the years to become a thriving community offering excellent local shops and services, with further shopping available at the Gyle Shopping Centre, Hermiston Gate Retail Park and of course the city centre.
There is a local primary school, with high school facilities available in nearby Currie. This area is convenient for access to Heriot Watt’s Riccarton Campus and also Napier University at both Sighthill and Craiglockhart. Juniper Green has its own Bowling Club and Baberton Golf Club is nearby.
Regular bus services provide easy access into Edinburgh’s centre and to other areas, while the City Bypass with its links to the central motorway network is easy accessible.
