Living in Inveresk
Inveresk and Musselburgh have thriving communities and are one of East Lothian’s most sought after and popular coastal town areas to live in. The local area is adjacent to pleasant farmlands and is well placed for access to the surrounding areas and to Musselburgh town centre which includes a good selection of shops and retail outlets on the High Street, well respected primary and secondary schools along with Loreto Private School, leisure and recreational facilities including a swim centre all being a short distance away.
Musselburgh also has a pleasant harbour and access to some lovely beachfront walks. Inveresk and Musselburgh are also very popular with commuters to the City Centre as there is a regular bus service and a park & ride facility close by. Access to the City by-pass is relatively easy which, in turn, leads to all other major routes in and around the area.
