Living in Eddleston
Eddlestone is located just off the A703 which is only a short distance from the picturesque Borders town of Peebles. Peebles is well known as a premier destination for outdoor pursuits, giving top class mountain biking facilities at Glentress, stunning shorter and long walking distances from the River Tweed and through the Borders hills.
Peebles has an excellent range of local shops, restaurants, pubs and hotels and Sainsbury and Tesco supermarkets. The area is well served by local schooling at both secondary levels and is home to the highly acclaimed Horseshoe Restaurant.
The area is conveniently situated for access to Edinburgh, which is approximately 15 miles north and Glasgow which is approximately 50 miles west. Additionally there are regular bus services available for access to Edinburgh and neighbouring towns such as Galashiels.
