Blackford is situated to the south of the city centre and is a popular area with access to a good range of local shopping facilities, banking and postal services and an excellent choice of bars, restaurants, takeaways, theatres and walking at nearby Blackford Hill.
The Cameron Toll Shopping Centre is close by with further shopping facilities including a large Sainsbury’s. Newington, Morningside and Marchmont are the neighbouring areas. The area has good public transport services to the city centre and surrounding areas.
