Armadale is well located for the commuter with easy access to the central belt motorway network for travel throughout the central belt and beyond.
Local buses run to most surrounding towns and villages whilst the railway station, in nearby Bathgate, provides a regular service into Edinburgh City Centre with stops at Edinburgh Park and Haymarket.
The town of Armadale offers good local shopping as well as nursery, primary and secondary schools and good recreational facilities. Further shopping and recreational facilities are available in either Bathgate or Livingston with the Almondvale Centre and designer Outlet having many high street stores together with restaurants, a health club and multi screen cinema.
