Emma Meechan originally joined Allan McDougall in 2012 as a property assistant, before moving to Warners to complete her traineeship, and has now returned to McDougall McQueen to work in the Private Client team.
A qualified solicitor, Emma works in the Penicuik office, advising individuals and families on a range of matters including the drafting of Wills, Powers of Attorney and Executries.
Having lived locally in Penicuik for 17 years, Emma knows the area well. From the best places to go for a coffee, to where to walk your dog, to when the local hockey team play their matches (Emma is a Liberton Ladies player), she knows the area and the marketplace and can also assist clients in residential property matters.
Things have certainly moved on for Emma since she had lunch with the Queen, and now has to settle for lunch with the McDougall McQueen team!
