Emily joined McDougall McQueen in the summer of 2018 and is an Associate in the Family Law team, based in our Central office.
With an LLB in Law and German as well as a Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of Edinburgh, and over 15 years experience in the industry, Emily is well placed to help clients address the difficulties which arise in relation to financial and other matters when they separate. She gives advice in the context of a breakdown of a marriage, civil partnership or when parties have been cohabiting, which can include dealing with care arrangements for any children of the relationship as well as offering legal advice about the best way in which to approach and deal with difficult and often complex financial situations.
When outside of the office Emily enjoys spending time with her family and enjoys running, Zumba and boxing to help allieviate the daily stresses of life!
